The Featured Artists' Coalition campaigns for the protection of performers' and musicians' rights. No one knows what the structure of the music industry will look like in future. But all artists face the same challenges in today’s digital world, so we need to speak with one voice to help artists strike a new bargain with record companies, digital distributors and others. Together, the Featured Artists’ Coalition will stand up for all artists by engaging with government, music and technology companies, and collection societies, arguing for fair play and, where necessary, exposing unfair practices. Find out more about the specific changes we are seeking through our campaign.

As a first step we have written a Charter which sets out our broad aims and how we will achieve them. Dozens of artistes have signed up and we urge you to do so. Among those already onboard are Radiohead, The Verve, Jools Holland, Robbie Williams and Billy Bragg. Digital technology has given artists the opportunity to control their future - we need to seize it now.
